-Labour charge to build wheel is $65 +tax (includes spoke preparation).
-Labour charge to rebuild wheel is $75 +tax.(involves collapsing the old wheel to reuse the parts, hub & rim).
-Labour charge to rebuild wheel is $95 +tax.(involves collapsing the old wheel to reuse the parts, hub or rim and reuse spokes-spokes are cut to different size,cleaned and spoke -prep reaplied).
-Building wheel with electric hub motor $100;if old wheel needs to be collapsed-$110.
Properly custom built wheel is a wheel that has incredible strength, durability, and longevity, with little or no maintenance required throughout the service life of the wheel. The wheel components should be carefully selected to be appropriate to the intended use of the wheel and for the intended rider, based on their riding style and weight. The wheel will stay true, its tension will remain high, and the spokes will not break.
WHAT MAKES THE PERFECT WHEEL
It is the builder who has ultimate control overall of the previously mentioned properties, The builder has the capabilities to design and build into the wheel all of the qualities which contribute to a perfect wheel. The most important of these can be simplified into 7 different areas as follow:
1. Optimum (high) tension throughout the wheel.measured by tenciometer.
2. Consistent tension throughout the wheel.
3. Perfect spoke lengths-all spokes are cut by Phill Wood spoke machine.
4.Proper lubrication of the spoke threads and rim nipple seats.
5. Proper preparation of the hubs and rims.
6. Proper lacing pattern and symmetry for its intended use.
7. Well-chosen components dependent on the application and ride.
Though the quality of many production wheels has improved greatly over the last decade, it is still impossible for any manchine to produce as fine a product as an accomplished and experienced builder. Add to that the almost limitless combinations of hubs, rims, spokes, nipples, and lacing patterns available to a customer, and the value of a custom wheel immediately becomes clear. Machine-built wheels are designed for anybody and everybody. Hand-built wheels are designed for you and only you!

Our custom built wheels are WARRANTED against broken spokes for 3 years:
-this warranty covers only spokes that broken from normal use of the wheel-spokes that broken by foreign object or due to the accident are NOT covered;
